Accelerated Reading
MAIA students are excited about the AR Reading Program. Each grade level has entered into a reading war. They are focused on who can read the most words from month-to-month based off the number of books that are read. At the completion of each book students take tests to show if they mastered the book being read.

MAIA students are staying updated on current events by learning about the terrible earthquake that took place in Haiti. To get involved MAIA staff and students are raising money and collecting supplies. The money and supplies will be sent to Haiti within the next two weeks to show support for our Haitian brothers and sisters.

Ed Performance testing is currently taking place for grades 2-10. These very important tests will show MAIA staff important data about student academic gains in math and reading. The Ed Performance data will be used to prepare students for the upcoming state exams (Ohio Achievement Assessments and the Ohio Graduation Tests.)
